Current Learning at Home Activities

In this section you will find resources to support your child to continue their learning at home during periods of self-isolation caused by COVID-19. The resources and suggested activities can be used alongside the curriculum maps which can be found under the EYFS and KS1 curriculum tabs within Learning at Woodfield.

The activities will, where possible, follow some aspects of the curriculum that would have been taught in school and will be things that can be readily resourced and carried out at home. Be kind to yourselves, we are not expecting you to recreate a school environment at home. However, in order to ensure that your child doesn't have any further gaps in their learning it will be important that you complete as many of the suggested activities as possible.

We do not require any work to be sent into school but if you would like to share what you have been doing, we have sent up our new Twitter page for exactly that reason. Here is the link:  I will be monitoring the page and would love to see what you achieve at home. As you know, we previously had class emails, however these were not set back up during our recent IT upgrade. This is something that we aim to have in place for the wb 12th October 2020.

If you would like a hard copy of the resources and the activity suggestions, we will be putting copies in the reception pod for you to collect. Please pop in and help yourself. They will be available from late morning on the Monday of each week.
