Welcome to Woodfield Infant School

Happily learning together. Be Kind. Be Responsible. Be Hardworking. This is the Woodfield Way.

Learning at Home Activities

In this section you will find resources to support your child to continue their learning at home during periods of self-isolation, or limited access to school, caused by COVID-19. The resources and suggested activities can be used alongside the curriculum maps which can be found under the EYFS and KS1 curriculum tabs within Learning at Woodfield.

The activities will, where possible, follow aspects of the curriculum that would have been taught in school and will be things that can be readily resourced and carried out at home. Be kind to yourselves, we are not expecting you to recreate a school environment at home. However, in order to ensure that your child doesn't have any further gaps in their learning it will be important that you complete as many of the suggested activities as possible.

We do not require any work to be sent into school but if you would like to share what you have been doing, we have sent up our new Twitter page for exactly that reason. Here is the link: https://twitter.com/InfantWoodfield  I will be monitoring the page and would love to see what you achieve at home. We also have class emails for you to use while learning at home. The addresses for these can be found under the year group star and class stars below.

If you would like a hard copy of the resources and the activity suggestions, please contact the admin team and they will arrange for you to be able to collect this. However, the activities have been designed, as far as possible, for you not to need a physical copy, unless of course you are unable to access it online.
