Welcome to Woodfield Infant School

Happily learning together. Be Kind. Be Responsible. Be Hardworking. This is the Woodfield Way.

Our Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA)

Meet the Team

Woodfield & St George’s Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) is a registered charity (No. 1201568) run by volunteers to raise valuable funds that benefit St George’s Junior School, Woodfield Infant School and Nursery.

Our aim is to support the schools and their pupils by running fundraising events and activities throughout the academic year. With the funds raised we can invest in resources and experiences for the children to learn from and enjoy.

To find out more about what we have been doing and what future events are planned have a look at our newsletters (under ‘What’s on at Woodfield’) or follow us on Facebook or Instagram.

We are always looking for more volunteers who can offer their ideas, expertise or time - whether it’s an hour here and there or more involvement with bigger events. We currently have just four committee members so we really appreciate any support to help make our events happen.

It's easy to get in touch: simply send us a message on social media, or email yourptfa@gmail.com

We look forward to hearing from you!

We have some exciting attractions already booked…including a Silent Disco, Jake The Storyteller, Nerf arena and Inflatables, as well as live music and many stalls including Tombola, Lucky Dip, The Washing Line Game and Hook a Duck.

We are hoping to recruit an army of volunteers to help us make the day a success…can you help?

We have our volunteer WhatsApp group up and running, so please join using the link below if you would like to be part of the team who will be bringing our ideas to fruition.

And we will be sending out a link in the next few weeks for volunteers to sign up for slots to run the stalls on the day.  Any willing family or friends would also be welcome to help out!

We also have some special requests...if you are able to help out with any of the following, please get in touch, yourptfa@gmail.com:

  • Hay bales
  • Signage (A-boards, chalkboards, promotional banners/flags)
  • Leftover coronation bunting

This event will not be possible without our community help, so please let us know if you can support us in any way.

We can't wait to see you all there! ðŸŒž
