Our Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA)
Woodfield & St George’s Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) is a registered charity (No. 1201568) run by volunteers to raise valuable funds that benefit St George’s Junior School, Woodfield Infant School and Nursery.
Our aim is to support the schools and their pupils by running fundraising events and activities throughout the academic year. With the funds raised we can invest in resources and experiences for the children to learn from and enjoy.
We are always looking for more volunteers who can offer their ideas, expertise or time - whether it’s an hour here and there or more involvement with bigger events. We currently have just four committee members so we really appreciate any support to help make our events happen.

Our mega Autumn Raffle will be drawn on the 23rd October 2023.
The raffle is supporting Woodfield's 'Reading for Pleasure' and St George's 'Reading for All' initiatives. Click the link below to see the full list of prizes and buy your tickets. The raffle draw will take place on the 23rd October.
Here are some key PTFA event dates for the rest of the Autumn Term.
Monday 23rd October: Autumn Raffle Draw (tickets available to purchase for £1 until 6pm)
Thursday 26th October: Children's Halloween Trail during school hours at both schools
Wednesday 22nd November, 7.30 pm: PTFA AGM (Darwin Community Centre, Frankwell) All welcome
Friday 1st December; 3.30 pm: PTFA Christmas Fair - St George's School
*Any PTFA members (parents, relatives, friends) who would like to run their own stall - we have outdoor and indoor spaces available, please get in touch*
