Safer Schools  -  Update from Ian Bartlett, Safer Schools  -  Shropshire Council 

St George’s Junior School and Woodfield Infant School held their annual Safer School meeting during the Summer term. This is a security/safety review and I would like to recognise both schools for their excellent working as an accredited ‘Safer School’. Although the schools were accredited in 2007, not only do the schools continue to comprehensively fulfil the Safer School criteria but they are continually striving to improve. A really positive approach. During the meeting, the schools were presented with updated certificates and a future meeting is planned for 2024.
